For at least the last five years, "Es Kopi Susu", or iced coffee with milk, has suddenly become a trend and incredibly popular among the locals. People are getting overindulged with the abundant options of iced coffee with milk. While the pandemic might slow down some of the coffee business, the coffee shops industry found several ways to attract customers to keep drinking their coffee. One of them is by offering 1 litre iced coffee and adding plant-based milk as their alternatives to cow's milk.

Plant-based milk has become more mainstream in coffee shops because more people started to be more conscious and prefer to opt for healthier and more sustainable options. The good news is, one of the leading coffee startups, Fore Coffee, has just announced that it has launched three plant-based menus in its beverage range! The drinks are Pandan Coconut Latte, Nutty Oat Latte and Hibiscus Fruity Blossom.

According to their official press release, they stated that the reason behind the launch was because plant-based consumption is increasingly becoming a trend and essential for the environment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Elisa Suteja, CEO of Fore Coffee, also explained, "This Plant-Based series is here as our effort to answer consumers' desires for healthier product alternatives that are also in line with Fore Coffee's basic spirit to protect the environment."

Another thing that drives the emergence of this Plant-Based Series is the public's hesitation to start. Many think that the plant-based lifestyle will be inconvenient, require a lot of preparation, and difficult to get the ingredients. Regarding this, Elisa added, "We want to introduce an easier way through the new Fore Coffee menu so that anyone can start perfecting their plans for a healthier life."

Fore Coffee uses coconut milk, oat milk, and hibiscus tea as the three main ingredients in blending their drinks for the three new menus. Pandan Coconut Latte, which is the signature drink from Fore Coffee, now comes with a vegan version using coconut milk. The second drink, Nutty Oat Latte, will use oat milk which is then mixed with coffee and hazelnut flavor. For non-coffee drinkers, they also have a Hibiscus Fruity Blossom menu, which is tea from Hibiscus flowers that is rich in benefits.

As the name implies, Fore, taken from the word 'forest', hopes to grow fast, strong, tall, and beneficial for all those around them. Fore Coffee grows stronger by providing more choices of drinks that are healthy, tasty, and can finally be enjoyed by everyone. These three menus are available as one of their seasonal menus, which means the period is limited, so you better hurry to try all of them!
